A Control Panel is a tool employed to handle the content of a hosting account. This can include, but is not limited to, files, email messages, databases, statistics along with other operations executed with them. The Control Panel offers a web-based interface to control all these things and everything else relevant to the website hosting service via different sections in which you can access features through menus and/or buttons. The less difficult to use a Control Panel is, the easier it'll be for you to manage your world-wide web presence as a whole. In the general scenario, the CP is the Internet hosting account’s back office, while an independent billing account is employed to handle payments and domain name registrations - if the company offers this particular service. Trouble tickets can be managed through the billing account or by using a separate system.
